New Outside Column! (And I’m On The Radio Today!*)

*UPDATE: I am not on the radio today. Apparently the phones at the station are broken, which makes doing a call-in radio show difficult. It would have been nice to know that before I left home this morning at Ass O’Clock, but it is what it is.

So yeah, what it says up there. Here’s the column:

Hey, don’t get me wrong, I’m not saying gravel races are just theme vacations for middle-aged cyclists with money or anything like that.

…or am I?

Also, I’m back on the radio this morning at 10am after like a 19-week haitus, and even if you’re not in the New York City area you can listen via WBAI’s website:

And if you do listen, I have to ask that you become a WBAI Buddy in the name of the show. See, the radio station is entirely listener-supported, and there are no commercials for local car dealerships or tacky seafood restaurants or anything like that. This means the only way I get to do the *only* (and by default best) bicycle-themed radio show in New York City is by getting donations from tightwads like you.

Plus, if I bring in a million dollars for the station I get a solid gold microphone. (I mean I already use one, but I’ve been bringing my own.)

So there you go.
